In this course, your child will learn the essentials of making YouTube videos! Learn how to film using your phone, how to edit video using Lightworks, and how to upload videos to YouTube. We will also have digital citizenship lessons where we specifically discuss what is and is not okay to share on the internet. We can’t wait to see you!
This class is run virtually through Discord. Please download Discord here: https://discord.com/. We will send details for joining our channel closer to the start date.
For this class, you will need a computer running Windows or MacOS, a phone or camera to record video with, and Lightworks, which you can download here: https://www.lwks.com/. Other editing software is okay, but Lightworks will be the preferred editing software from our instructors.

As a special addition, this course will also introduce students to the world of artificial intelligence (AI) by incorporating AI lessons into the curriculum. Through these lessons, students will gain a deeper understanding of how AI can be integrated into various aspects of programming, preparing them for the future of technology.
