Make games, animations, and get creative! Scratch is a block-based programming language developed by MIT, and it is the perfect place to start for new or early coders. Master the fundamentals on an easy to learn platform: variables, conditionals, sequence, logic, and more! This summer camp will be specifically focused on making games and animations in the "Castles and Dragons" theme - by the end of the week, students will have a portfolio of projects from their Medieval world.

This course is run virtually through Discord. You can download Discord here: https://discord.com/download. Headphones are required, and a microphone is recommended.

As a special addition, this course will also introduce students to the world of artificial intelligence (AI) by incorporating AI lessons into the curriculum. Through these lessons, students will gain a deeper understanding of how AI can be integrated into various aspects of programming, preparing them for the future of technology.
